Neil Island is quieter than Havelock and favoured by freedivers who want more space and less boat traffic. The coral gardens at K-Rock and Bharatpur Beach are in excellent condition, and the visibility is consistently high. Neil is particularly good for freediving photography due to the abundant marine life at medium depths. It sits 40km from Port Blair and is easily combined with a Havelock trip.

Lakshadweep is an archipelago of 36 coral atolls in the Arabian Sea, with visibility that rivals the Maldives. The outer reef walls of Bangaram and Agatti drop sharply into deep blue water.
